The information you share, will be held by Time to Talk Therapy. UK Data Protection Laws require us to manage all personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Principles. In particular, we are required to process your personal information fairly, lawfully and in a transparent manner. This means that you are entitled to know how we intend to use any information you provide. You can then decide whether you want to give it to us in order that we may provide the product or service that you require.
What type of information do you collect?
We receive, collect and store any information you provide.
How do you collect information?
When you contact us on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.
When do you destroy the information?
Electronic and paper records will be stored for 7 years as they may be needed for litigation. Records will be permanently deleted after 7 years. This meets the requirements of Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (2016). I am unable to delete a client’s records until this period has expired.
Who can access my personal information?
Only your therapist can access your personal information, however if your therapist was unable to practice at short notice (in unforeseen circumstances and where your therapist is unable to contact you themselves (e.g. they become seriously unwell or die)), then a nominated person will be aware of how to access your therapist’s records in order to contact you.
Why do you collect such personal information?
We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:
1. To provide and operate the Services;
2. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.
